Amy Goodman and her colleagues at DEMOCRACY NOW! have been able to feature PALESTINIAN, ISRELI JEWISH, Progressive USA, and ISRAELI KNESSET voices for peace. This is important in that it demonstrates an inclusive co-operative, collaborative consensus-building coalition choosing to advocate for an immediate cessation of genocidal carnage ahead of formal peace negotiations after almost 60 years of guerilla warfare and occupation.

Perhaps this unprecedented conversation, replete with personal stories of family, friends, and acquaintances who have been killed, injured, and or terrorized/traumatized in the midst of the GAZA strip war zone, is simply the only way for the decision makers who birthed the post-WWII decision of the victors — USA, UK, Europe, and Russia (‘becoming’U.S.S.R. at that time) to assign a chunk of Prime EASTERN MEDITERRANEAN land already the home of mostly Arabs and some Jews, Christians, and non-religious peoples in a land then known as Palestine. Taking a longitudinal/historical point of view, they were intentionally repeating a pattern of Imperial Colonization to the provide a home for survivors of the German Nazi Holocaust.
