In the Fall of 2020, all imaginable puns and ironies intentional, I was scammed by a firm with a physical mailing address, phone numbers, and an Internet portal to log in work completed and packages delivered. There were women with Filipino accents and Americanized names who I called only when needed to ask for further information when dealing with Best Buy and or FedEx staff people. There was one virtual "customer" who forwarded a photocopy of her CADL and a letter explaining she was on lockdown with two elderly relatives and could not leave her home to pick up packages.
Funny coincidence, however. The day they were to pay me $3000.00 for four weeks worth of logistics management, the entire human staff of the business disappeared. In a very nice chat with the Commonwealth of Kentucky, I learned how easy it was for the company to set up shop in Kentucky--- and disappear without a trace.
This all happened in 2020. Since that time, 90% of my emails and text messages are from people wanting me to buy various and sundry things. Robocalls from debt collection companies searching for random people usually with foreign -sounding names are a daily plague. Apparently, Artificial Intelligence identifies me as a financially wealthy man based upon the English language fluency demonstrated by my published portfolio. "IT!" cannot access the one-percent-adjacent who own the platforms that publish my written work. All this of course, is by design.
Since this same time last year, I have received a whopping $2.00 ( two dollars and no cents) for three or four pieces out of hundreds of articles published on Medium.com. I may very well be the LEAST READ MEDIUM WRITING PARTNER IN AMERICA. I have had hordes of biting carpet mites and german-japanese cockroaches reading photocopies of my published work-- but fewer than ten human followers.
I have exactly Five calendar days to contract with a small village called Clients in Abundance. They are a Consultancy Team for launching highly sustainable and profitable virtual coaching practices. The price for one year of working with them to get my foot in the doors of my target audience is $15,000.00.
My target audience? Parents, students, teachers, and adults fluent in any language Google Translate currently supports. I only deal in universally accessible QUALITY CONTENT. FAMILY is at the core of the VernonNickersonSchoolcoach brand. I want to teach the world to sing in perfect AND OR imperfect harmonies.
I have a particular set of skills, training and experiences that I seek to use to make everyone's gardens grow in this best of all possible worlds. Now, it also happens to be the only world I know, live, move, and have my being upon, so, PLANET EARTH IS THE ONLY GAME IN TOWN. If I cannot make it here, there is not any other planet I can go to to start over again. As far as most of us are concerned, we do not yet have free and unfettered access to such technology. We have all sorts of ways for destroying ourselves and "OUR BIG BLUE MARBLED EGG"-- but no way to replicate anywhere else.
So, why are we not sharing an abundance of human and natural resources? Well, I am committed to answer that question...or die trying. I have no generational wealth in multiple commercial banks and or trust accounts to jump start my journey to answer that question. That money ship sailed the same day my female and male breeder ancestors arrived on the Eastern seaboard of the nascent USA.
But I do have tons of good, simple ideas-- and multiple ways of working remotely. With language translation tools, the world is literally and figuratively: "my backyard", " at my fingertips", "my oyster". Or, simply, fertile soil for seeds I have been planting since I took my first steps in the Spring of 1959.
My village is virtually invisible and I intend for it to remain invisible. They all have busy lives and families and communities of friends that demand their attention daily. I daresay I am the only one among them with a flexible schedule to support 100% of the work on the attached " request for applicants" resumes.
