Dan Chang is correct. There was no proof food handling staff received required training. Even more troubling, parents could not go online to see the content of the training that was supposed to be provided. For the record, as a former LAUSD SPED iCAPP Intern ( mild-moderate and moderate-to-severe) with prior classroom experience in MN ( where I was originally licensed), Dawson County , GA, and with experience in Social Work in the tri-county Metro Atlanta, GA area, the most effective leadership is from top-down with professional management and human resources training provided to all school administrators. My observations and experiences with LAUSD public/private campus sharing from 2016-2018 validate the competition and divisiveness that Mr. Schmerlson talked about. Whatever LAUSD/UTLA/SEIU have been, continue to be, and may become in the immediate future is sadly solely dependent upon its Superintendent Carvahlo and Secretariat Beutner and the Beaudry leadership. I hope to hear what the plan is for recouping the $300 MILLION that was paid for AI that never worked and had to be shut down and replaced(?).Stay strong, Mr. CJ Petersen and all of your fellow parent-public citizen advocates!☮️🌏🌎🌍☮️👍
