If you have read this far, you are probably thinking, that's way over yonder; glad I'm not there. Given the fact that the Governors of ( at a minimum) Texas and Florida are allowed to do the same thing, but with a different weapon-- COVID-19 (Delta Variant) suggests exactly how we allowed this to happen with an alleged former ally. The decision was made before Joseph Robinette Biden became President Joe Biden, so we, the people, were complicit if we have consistently been voting.

If the USA had been honest about its mission, this is what should have been told to the troops and voters when our troops were initially deployed. That might have been a disincentive to get into a war that was never intended to be winnable, let alone won. We learned nothing from the way we "ended" Vietnam. So we repeated the same event even less capably than we did leaving Saigon and completely abandoning the indigenous Afghans we swore we had come to protect and serve. Is it true that Failed States can only ever have Failed Long Term Military Missions? Real-time is unforgiving and revealing all the secrets sooner rather than later. Once again the USA feels the burning red-faced shame and guilt of its hypocritical foreign policy.
