In another age, we lived by a different faith
We used to say, "Love thy neighbor."
Let's go back to those days.]]- Walter Rhein, 2025

@Walter Rhein, I respectfully would argue that it is the academic praxis and pedagogy of being loving and public/private practice of love between and among homo sapiens that is missing.

Somewhere between post 1981 in Southern California and Meteopolitan New York City, I cringed every time I heard a live voice or voicemail greeting end with “ Have a blessed day” AFTER being dismissive, demonizing, or otherwise rude and or disrespectful.

Organized religions have preached and spoken “ love thy neighbor” at least once or twice every Sabbath weekend– with zero practice of love the rest of the week.

Love must become “word(s) made flesh”.
