Jonathan Poletti, congratulations on another block buster. Somebody ( I vote it be you) could probably write a book or screenplay about the lives these people irrevocably harmed with their performances. So much of religion is about performance. Maybe we have only ever been met to take the good bits from biblical literature and trash the rest of it.
But I digress. Do you offer these for publication in religious magazines? If so, have any ever run your work more than once? I think their potential (?) willingness to at least have more conversations regarding religion’s “checkered and gruesome” past might be a way to let light inside sanctuaries for a change. Your thoughts?
