Habitable and Under Construction at the same time in 2023 . A VISION of what is POSSIBLE.

Why doesn't Tarek El Moussa arrange to temporarily relocate all the people impacted by his desire to develop his property, then make them the tenants of his "neo-gentrified" new apartment tower? No, he would not make a profit, but does every real estate "deal" he makes have to be about profit-making? According to the CBS NEWS story, given the current dire shortage of affordable housing in Los Angeles City and County, this would be a humanitarian act. It could become a new minimum Housing and Urban Development/ HACLA standard for a truly New Millenium.

Full disclosure: I am led to share these thoughts out of enlightened self-interest. Specifically, single and living as such at 64 with chronic health issues that are survivable with access to quality health and wellness care for my life span, in what is currently recognized as a rent-controlled unit by the City of Los Angeles ( and perhaps also the County?). Additionally, I was essentially a paid public servant within what I now call the Homelessness Services Industry from approximately 2005 through February 2014.
