It is beyond #TimeOut, #TimeUp to send our ally Japan anything less, like Rahm Emanuel, to serve the best interests of Japan and the USA. Covering up CPD taking the life needlessly of any person is the same as aiding and abetting a felon. RE should be grateful for his freedom.
Confirming him as an Ambassador is the eqivalent of rewarding someone for spectacularly egregious and toxic behavior. A foundational principle of behavior theory is that rewarding someone for bad behavior choices sends the message to the positive reward recipient that they can get rewarded and receive positive attention for everything they do, good or evil. Emanuel is legendary even among his family for his temper and use of colorful language.
