WITH ALL RESPECT DUE, RESUF AHMED speaks too fast for any audience. Why didn’t the Watson Institute AND OR his sponsor at Stanford make him watch Dr. Mark Lynch’s videos and coach him on presentation? His content is too important for such a dis-engaging presentation to any audience of native English speakers.

Regarding his content, he needs to have read and cited all of Dr. Claude Anderson’s seminal work on AFFIRMATIVE ACTION. He presents as oblivious to the fact that you cannot legislate your way out of generations of robust Eugenics and EUGENICIST praxis and pedagogy, western colonizers’ hegemony, imperialism, and economic exploitation of indigenous people. He needs to simply define and. connect his terms , ‘political quota,’positive impact’, ‘ethnic/regional favoritism’, ‘dis-aggregated’, etc. to affirmative action. Also, a brief history of affirmative action is sorely needed before launching into his contribution TO THE LONG OVERDUE GLOBAL CONVERSATION.
