Well, Carl J. Petersen, as you have previously reported, the previous board flew Carvalho in from Florida, interviewed and hired him with no public ( read, parents specifically) input. Furthermore, as you have diligently kept we, the voters informed, his performance reviews have all been conducted in closed door sessions also with no public comment. My conclusion, the Board gets what it paid for WHILE STUDENTS, staff, and adminstrators suffer all the negative consequences of their purchase needlessly. Meanwhile, at some point within the current federal administration's Anschluss(?) Blitzkreig(?) (I'm not sure which is more applicable, perhaps both apply simultaneously😱) LAUSD will face a fiscal crisis it has not prepared for at all. I would love to be proven wrong.
