Thank you so much for saying out loud all I have experienced as a Black Gay male who has rejected misogyny since I first learned what it met ( sixth grade Language Arts, lesson on prefixes and suffixes). Then, from then until now (65 and counting) I saw this , I am seeing this, and sadly, expect to continue to see this, and tragically, more from Black American males everywhere on the sexual expression spectrum because we come up through a system that brutalizes us, so , as bad as this truly is, LOOK FOR SOMEONE, ANYONE TO SCAPEGOAT. All the issues you mentioned are orders of magnitude WORSE in religious organizations, again, regardless of gender OR sexual orientation.
